Nooooot looking forward to this. Officials are warning that they could still potentially be counting ballots for up to 13 days after election day

and thats....not gonna sit well with the treason weasels and conspiracy kooks

(thankfully I already got confirmation mine was counted)

I am genuinely not sure why anyone in this state DOESN'T vote early, whether by mail or in person

like I know we'd still be potentially getting military ballots coming in even after election day due to the sheer distance involved, but there's still a weirdly large percentage of people who insist on only voting in person and only on election day

(and to be fair, that group did exist pre-Trump)

but given the conspiracy-fueled shitshow in 2020, I am not looking forward to the next two weeks |D

Especially since that election also saw county officials just not reporting vote totals because they were convinced Biden didn't win

it took threats of arresting them to finally get it moving again

the only reason husboose and I did it day of back in tucson is because we could walk to our polling place, then walk to trader joe's to buy a little picnic dinner, then walk home to enjoy it long before results started to roll in.

God I miss Arizona's issue book, too. We would set up a picnic at the park the first weekend we had it, sit around eating subs and discussing the issues, our understanding, and reading all the letters either for or against issues or things like that to try and get the most informed stance we could.

At least Fontes won't have cold feet about bringing in the count.
