OKAY SO I DID my absentee (early voting) thing already. Mailed it in. Did not get notified that it was set on fire so I think I'm good

My dad also did this

BUT MY URGING for us to do early/absentee was not for my dad or I but for Katie

Sheeeeeeeeeeee has a new pain

Just when some other stuff was calming down or seeming to be under control a new one appears!

She's been bedridden about a week now

Tomorrow does not look brighter in this regard

This pain is like

Wait, lemme edit cause this is a lot of pain talk and not everyone is about that

Okay so.

SO IT'S LIKE from her mid-spine DOWN TO HER TOES like under her foot, bottom of feet

So anything that isn't laying down seems to cause a great deal of agony

She sees a doctor on Wednesday, we had a few DO WE GO TO ER moments but she declined them each time

Because, honestly, they can't do much and she knows this

She has a "cocktail" as they seem to call it of various pain meds and it's tricky to mess with so they generally shrug and just urge her to see her pain doctor

Unhelpful, really

SO BACK TO TOMORROW and election

SHE REQUESTED an absentee ballot

It did not come!

Never showed up

And while I am unsure if she did in fact request it, she assures me she did so

Now she has to go to regular voting and wait in a line with significant pain and while my dad and I can be her advocates to cut in line to lessen the difficulty of the experience

I DUNNO GUYS KINDA SUCKS

I did not need to do absentee, I did it to show my skeptical dad and Katie that it wasn't so painful to do and took literally 1 minute start to finish

So kinda annoyed that the point of doing it, so that Katie wouldn't have to stand in line suffering failed because hers somehow got lost

Anyway, grumble grumble make your plan to vote
