needless to say someone in my family passed away last night and while it's not. utterly devastating (she was very old) it was still pretty sudden enough im still kind of like Huh

ive got to go buy flowers for my grandma since i know she'll be taking it pretty hard...i need to text my dad...find out when the funeral is...

im never any good with grief and loss so ill probably just be distracting myself and waiting for it to hit me when the service comes

castforms: thank you, it just really sucks. i feel more for my family than me since they were closer than i was but it never feels easy to deal with

yeah, it's tricky 😔 but take the time you need and let yourself feel what you need to. just because you weren't as close to her as other members of your family doesn't mean it's not impacting you
