the last couple of days have been.... stressful just in regards to this stuff

it turns out I barely didn't qualify for the affordable housing because I have a savings account that earns interest

so I accepted the one apartment they had there at the market rate... which is $200 more per month than I thought it would be........

according to them I can afford it with the 3x income restriction however so I. guess that's fine. I'll be one person living on my own so utilities and food won't be too expensive, and my workplace gives out yearly raises in March

assuming I haven't snagged a better job by then lol

it hurts my pocketbook but the housing market sucks right now and it's the best apartment I looked at during my trip, so I just gotta deal

SO. what this means for me is I'll be leaving on November 17th to make the roadtrip to my new apartment, I won't arrive until the 18th

and I'm going to get my internet hooked up ASAP since I need it for work

I'm not going to put in for a hiatus at Expi because I'm usually plenty active on Morph and I don't feel like I'll need it, but if stuff gets super busy for me I might reconsider

it is finally getting the fuck out of Texas

and if I hate the apartment or the price I can just move again once the lease is up

(and like usual dad had no empathy for my struggles with applying for this apartment, like damn I can't say I'm going to miss him much)
