thank you so much to everyone, players and guests alike, for making this such a wild ride!
Key points: because the destruction of the NS was so significant, the Cap'n's power was weakened enough that we WILL allow apps for NS characters, as long as they follow all the guidelines in the OOC post
Characters are otherwise yanked back to their respective ships, and the barge will be limping into port in november to make further repairs
as always, backtagging is encouraged and welcome!
Ulla is gonna be so sad that Signy isn't rescueable, alas
Ooh, the Enclosure was slated to be damaged pretty heavily, as well
Oh interesting! ty mods for your hard work!
lilbeejack thanks for the head's up, I'll edit it in!
no problem! thank you for all your work <3
lilbeejack quantumvelvet I think Yen and Hela are the ones doing the most damage to the decks, is that right? any thoughts on
if/how much they'd have targeted the chapel?
or if there's anyone else I should flag to check about it?
Yen wouldn't have stayed long on that level after letting NS!Armand into the gazebo. Pulling
anstaar in here to see what sort of damage he might have caused there, if he did.
Hela isn't actually doing much damage to the Barge - she's raising zombies and buffing people, but she's going to be intercepted before she can do much breaking of shit.
Armand would've set up a bonfire throwing in anything he could. it's what wood and paper are there to help stoke! mostly destruction of instruments because of that ease. also he would throw some burning torches at the chapel for fun too.
Pyotr would have probably had the opportunity, and while he would absolutely destroy a church, he doesn't really consider the chapel a real church or even worth destroying. he probably laughed/smiled at Armand doing it though
"Days since chapel was on fire" counter reset to 0.
Ulla so upset about the damn piano, although ranked below her upset about Signy
onemuon: Armand waving at Pyotr like, 'this is a molotov cocktail'
shipoftheseus: I've been working and sleeping but Callisto was going to torch some shit too, and she'd definitely hit the chapel. God issues.
Thank you, mods, for all your hard work on this. And thanks to everyone else who put so much effort into the story
awww, not their fancy pianoforte!
this is why axes were invented (fitz is too upset to notice but if he wasn't he'd be really annoyed)
HELL YES CALLISTO.. I mean oh my
General app history question - is it generally preferred for people to write it out directly, or link to a wiki? (Good summaries for the canon I have in mind since Hopper1 is AU and thus not appable are available already, but they are on TvTropes.)
Not a mod, but they'll accept both! I linked a history for Tendi, but had to write it out for the current app I'm doing because there's not an existing history writeup for the characters.
I actually had a couple links for Tendi because one was more of a "before canon" summary and one was more of a "canon so far" summary.
/nods/ Makes sense!
(As far as apps I've written before, Kamen Rider Gotchard's not so bad - but 50 episodes puts it on the higher end of the middle of the scale. And has a lot of unfilled data in the backstory, at least as far as the Chemies are concerned.)
Yeah, if there's details that are going to impact their characterization, warden/inmate status, etc. that aren't in the linked histories I'd personally write out some extra details just clarifying those points, but if it's mostly flavor or technical stuff it's probably fine to leave it and just clarify points as needed in Permissions.
Once the character is accepted, I mean, you don't need a Permissions page filled out to app
this is all correct - if the fandom wiki is accurate/reasonably complete + for the correct version of the character (in case of like, book vs movie vs cartoon) then that's fine
