How did Cain become a reaper and what does a reaper do in this universe

ZiriO: He died in the arms of his beloved fighting quite literally to the death (belongs to panda)! He doesn't have his memories though so he doesn't exactly recall that his beloved reincarnated, just that he likes a small sized man a lot.

ZiriO: Reapers in this universe (by me & panda) have a few responsibilities but mainly taking the souls of the dead and bringing them to be judged if necessary and guide them to the next step / reincarnation if necessary. They solve the grievances of roaming souls, and fight the animas (monsters borne out of powerful negative emotions.)

ZiriO: tbh I'm rly proud of how much his design has changed over the past couple of years, he used to be much smaller & thinner and I can see I struggled a lot still with bigger features like full lips and big noses. very proud of that changing for the better
