but THE POINT IS I was thinking to give him something to do that isn't just trying to kill everyone for 10 days straight, he will be making some masks! and starting in a few days he will start handing out useful ones and leaving Dangerous ones Around, on the principle that the NS is full of idiots just like the barge

and SOMEONE will totally find a suspicious looking tribal mask and put it on for funsies

the Dangerous Ones I think are going to basically hook into the person and drive them to sabotage the NS, using their own knowledge of her systems (whatever that is) or Fight Their Friends (which could backfire/be fraught and fun angst if they are canonmates with bargizens)

WE HAVE LESS INFO ON BENEVOLENT ONES but they DO exist

although Kahl might have trouble empowering them given the dearth of benevolent gods around to steal blood from

(although powered people might work as well)

so he might pop up asking people for their blood lmao

and I think if he does not make them Full Suicide ones, the mask can fall off after the sabotage Damage is Done and the NS folks in question have to decide whether to warn everybody or not admit that they put the thing on

also he doesn't have as much time and help to put them together as he did in canon, so it makes sense they wouldn't be as intense or precise

Ulla isn't a god, but she's a saint, so she has been worshipped........

it's less about worship than about Natural Power, so she could definitely be a candidate!

I know her spells can do all different kinds of things, is there anything in particular you think of as like...her Signature Areas?

3. Signy (similar powerset to Ulla) is also helping the Barge

I feel like Saga's blood could be used to do some kind of limited use misty step type item

I think Sweeney's blood could definitely help target-to-Cap'n but it would still route through the accessible presence of the Cap'n's power (ie the mast - and that'd be some info for them as well)

(also if Iris is the one wearing it, it would like....kindasorta make her an avatar of, not Sweeney's personhood, but like the concepts he represents/is bound up with, for a short time - cool intimacy stuff there maybe?)
