I will say for all my pathological paranoid avoidance of the remake, it has definitely brought more eyes onto my fic since it dropped

(and yes I am aware that the remake is actually???? GOOD APPARENTLY???? and I will check it out at some point)

okay so like. full disclosure as someone who also has been dreading remake, I adore it. admittedly I am still not far in it (I'm bumbling around in bluecreek) but I don't have a single complaint so far. obviously I am having a good time because /gestures at the new james journal. but yes
