Time to reveal my shit taste or how much of a weenie I am

This isn't listed in order but more under the criteria of:
1) Traumatized me as a child, still traumatized now
2) Loved the atmosphere and lore of the movie
3) Found it entertainingly funny

Or some mix of these choices!

Probably missing a few that I couldn't put on here or have repressed from memory

Most of these are like "My parents grew up with these" old

Perfect Blue was one of my first 'adult' anime movies that made me go "HOLY SHIT ANIME CAN BE LIKE THIS???"

Would highly recommend if you're a fan of OnK, but unlike OnK that likes to throw in some comedy to balance the dark moments... There are no comedic bits in this movie

Metropolis is probably the oldest on the list

Some would argue that it's a sci-fi flick but I think it counts as a horror movie

It's also a silent movie which makes it a lot more interesting

Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2 is more of a comedy than a horror movie

But it was a Big Deal back then

Good to appreciate some over-the-top narmy ass 80s horror

Child's Play used to scare me as a kid but I think it more entertainingly fun now

man i need to see so many of these...

especially event horizon and suspiria

Still wanna see if they can dig up all that deleted footage one day

Suspiria(1977) Main ThemeSuspiria's opening theme is such a vibe too
