i've been out and proud since high school, i came out with my friend group which was 5 gay guys and me, somehow i was the only surprise in that group lol
and a cute story: i came out as NB in my 30's, i have always been very whatever about my own gender and presentation, so i've never really cared about it at all. UNTIL...
playing baldur's gate 3 and having a bunch of characters i'd come to love refer to me as 'they' hit so, so good. i'm really not a stickler about my own pronouns (i used to figure out clever ways to skip them when referring to myself), i'm still extremely comfortable with she/hers and i have had a long happy journey with my femininity
but that in particular was such a wholesome source of happiness, and i'm glad it exists, not just for me, but for the people it matters even more to. (and i'm extra glad it made that one bruv really really fuckin mad)
that's all i've got, please listen to some of my favorite queer artists today in celebration: snow tha product, young miko, syd, janelle monae, kehlani, hayley kiyoko -- i'm super into doechii now too please listen to spooky coochie
