So far I'm really actually super happy with it

Bloober sucks at writing, but most of this has been lifted directly from the original(so far), so I have faith. Having played Bloober games before, they actually do really good on the aesthetics of horror

If you haven't seen it yet i do suggest looking at the environments in The Medium, which are based on the paintings of Zdzisław Beksiński

So it's really cool and a pretty fresh take on the "spooky dimension" thing, and that makes me pretty psyched to see how they do the Nightmare Mode

Also, i gotta say they did so good on the environment so far(i haven't even gotten into apartments yet) that i feel like i can smell it

not in a bad way, the beginning of the game is a foggy, moist forest

I'm just like. Ahhh, the rain, the pine, the mud
