I was also considering like. The TF aspect would be SO fun on him. Ga'hoole owls use metal claw extenders for warfare (sort of their "why would you ever need this except to kill people" weapons, because owl talons are already more than enough for hunting) and I have been thinking so much about poor Ezyl getting some oversized metal claws

He'd be grumpy about any dragon I think but metallic would definitely push some very specific and very tired buttons I think

Also important info about Ezyl: he's a whiskered screech owl so he's SMALL. And of course nocturnal so he would 100% be bothering people in the middle of the night by scratching/tapping on their doors and windows
