I still can't get over that Robbie Reyes was put in a literal purgatory in the comics until like... whatever Ghost Rider stuff is coming out soon that he's gonna be in

there's so much insanity that happens that like.. gets forgotten until some writer is like hey i need this character for this plot, where the hell did we leave them???

and we then get no answers about how the original plot was resolved

or the new writer just decides to retcon it

oh yeah I know a lot of people are really into Loki in the modern comics! it seems quality, I just don't keep up with a lot of Avengers stuff (unless it was the bad run Robbie was in)

this is why i have so much trouble with comics. it's like. i get a really good story that i feel so much emotion about

marvel's idea of spicing stuff up is more logan pain or another phoenix/jean thing

if i'm lucky, it's wrapped up in a satisfying manner, if not, it just sort of peters out and goes nowhere

and then the next writer comes along and throws out everything i loved to return everything to The Status Quo
