Hear me, Hear Ye! We have a lot to get through, so hold onto your eye glasses (If you don't have any, go get some and hold those!) because this is going to be a long one.
First up - LAST REMINDER FOR SEPTEMBER CHECK IN. It should be posted HERE!. On the NEW page. Melcat33 and firebenderjess at a quick glance I do not see yours!
Everyone else, please check yours and if you are good and see someone who has not posted, please be kind and poke them with something not too sharp!
Next up! News about October and November's events!
These will both be going up far earlier in the month than usual! There are a few reasons for that.
One reason is that the October event is, on the Auradon side, going to include a second mini event, and there needs to be calendar space for both.
Another is that the November event will be a two parter for BOTH sides, and it is going to be emotionally loaded! Beware, foreswear, you'll have to plot with care!
Another reason is that both the Isle side October plot and the plot for both sides for November may require a lot more plotting, planning, canon review, and headcannoning than most events do.
But, Mod-squad, I hear you not saying, September was also a heavy writing month and that one started late, what about the New Years' event?!
As to that... Let's be real, all y'all already in the game know how this game rolls by now. It should not surprise you in the least that the Mod-squad will probably still be writing TLs for it and tagging out into the RL New Year.
Which is to say this in no way should make anyone feel pressured to drop New Year threads or give up on sharing their stories! PLEASE, SHARE YOUR STORIES!

Anyway.
So, I mentioned news which implied more than just mentioning a vague plan of a date shift. It implied hints, did it not? So hear they come!
For those who saw the fireworks show linked in the Auradon September event post, you had a hint already for October. The theme is WISHES! The wishes will be limited in a way as to prevent them from being game breaking, worry you not. And for those on the Isle, just remember the old adage- Wishes come true; not free.
But both sides might have a little bit of be careful what you wish for going on! After all, we know the best monkey's paw is the one that comes with the whole rest of the monkey still attached.
More info for plotting will come out soon. Maybe.
On the Isle side, this event will last for 2 weeks in game. On the Auradon side however... Three days.
Why so short?
Because everyone needs time, IC, to recover and finish preparing for the TALENT SHOW!
That's right, the mini-event will be the talent show - including Gabriel Agreste's fashion showcase!

That's right! Just like The New Year thread was all Sail's fault (credit, whatever), this is another player plot! This one from Tanks! Please sign up with whatever you are planning to have your kiddos do for the talent show so that Tanks can write up witty emcee intros!
As for your hints for November... Well...
November is a lot of things for this game. It is when Chicklet-mod would hiatus except... Chicklet-mod was insane enough to open this game IN NOVEMBER! WHICH MEANS.... The game's anniversary is coming!!!
How has it been almost 2 years, y'all? Seriously. Thank you all so much! Do expect me to get mushy on you all with increasing frequency as we get closer.
Ahem. Anyway.
For some, anniversaries are times to look back over the years and reflect. For some, they are times to look to the future together with hope and optimism. (For some it comes with requisite apology flowers, but we'll skip that one this time.)
For us, this year... The Mod Squad absolutely is pulling a "why not both" in just about the weirdest way they could come up with.
Time is about to get extra wibbly wobbly around here!
The only other hint I'll give this early is this, though: If you are considering apping a character and are torn between canon point: choose the earlier one. If you were considering canon updating: wait.
Okay okay, fine, you twisted my arm. One more hint. You might want to start canon reviewing (or headcanoning) what happened to your character post their current pull point. And maybe making notes. Time stamps and/or page numbers optional. But probably a smart idea.
For those who arrived when they had died in their canon, worry not... There are options for you as well.

Weeeeeeeell..... One more thing. APPS! From now until the start of the first part of the November event... Anyone who was previously in game but is not currently in game can reapp the game (same character or a new one even!) without needing an invite. A reserve would still be appreciated, but not strictly necessary.
So if you were considering coming back, now is a great time!
And for everyone currently in game... Seriously, make sure your check in is posted properly On the new page. Please.
