i keep watching the moment the designs swap for the models and oh my god!!! oh my god!!!!

on the upside, the battle system may not be quite as modern saga as it looked in the announcement trailer

it looks more like individual characters get turns instead of managing your entire party's actions together each turn

a lot of what i'm hearing about the qol sounds like it's....unsagaing a saga game

being weird and obtuse is the whole appeal, you can't give players direct instructions to how to proceed and still be saga

like when i played rs3 i kept saying that it took me twenty hours to find the plot, because i spent those twenty hours exploring the world and just running with whatever it threw at me, it's just that none of it happened to be related to the main plot in any way

that's saga!
