No? Not in my experience
I think opening windows at work is often physically impossible. A lot of offices just don't have windows that will open.
(I open windows at home if the weather is nice, and also so my cat can sniff outside each morning.)
It depends on the season/weather. Work it’s unlikely, (depending on the location) but in our area its pretty common to do so at home
I worked in a small office building in town for a while and we’d open the windows in the spring/fall if it was nice out, but i know there were a lot of other places i worked that didnt have normal windows that could be opened
so I work in an office tower and the windows don't open, but I like to open the windows at home
so at the workplaces where you can't open the windows, do you constantly have the air conditioning running to get a semblance of fresh air or do you just live in hell?
we have mad air conditioning, oh yeah

The HVAC usually does run in those situations
I’m pretty sure everywhere that’s like that has some sort of central air these days to keep a steady temperature
we're way into air conditioning over here
it would be abnormal for an office NOT to have AC
(and it's usually blasting because it's designed for men in suits to feel comfortable)

i don't think i've been into a building without ac in america in. ever. unless it's a friend's apartment that doesn't have it
i've been in some schools or other buildings that didn't because the region was temperate (when it was built, etc) but yeah we have a looooooooooot of ac all over
as for opening windows it's like.......a family thing in my experience
but in cities not much because 1 - city smell and noise, 2 - thieves
i've never worked anywhere with a window that opens (and i have had a lot of jobs)
thieves?!? as in you actually worry people will enter the house through the window while you're in it?

yep, that's why lots of houses in cities have barred windows
oh yeah
i mean not me personally (although I have been robbed in the past) but it is definitely a concern that people have
