this weekend was rough for a few irl reasons, like yesterday I was half zoned out, but I'm way better after a full night's sleep and a good energy drink this morning

(esty over here e-mailing me about goblincore things to buy, no stop that's finally something I care about)

work is busy at this time of the year BUT thankfully my supervisors realized I was drowning and I was able to pass off a couple of my clinics to other people temporarily

means I can finally buckle down on the single one that's swamped me and finally catch up

I oughta have the energy to clear out my inbox too..... and I wanna get back to cross stitching at least a little, a new pattern I ordered is coming in the mail today so those are piling up lmao

I had to put it mostly on pause because for a while my hands were getting achey, but somehow that's mostly healed up now??? I was worried it'd stick around since I do just literally type all day for my job

but hopefully this means I'm not developing carpal tunnel or arthritis like I thought

A lot of what ends up in the yearly needlework marketplaces are primitives/old-fashioned designs but every now and then designers do modern takes that look really cool

Plus while I have a few patterns now that use beads I haven't actually done any of them yet, but they look super nice
