Finally have time to make mooncakes! We tried to make traditional (flavour wise) lotus seed paste mooncake this time! Have friends who are allergic to peanut oil (which most “modern” mooncakes are made with,
traditional would be lard but we also have Muslim friends who don’t eat lard) so we made our lotus seeds paste from scratch! Also saved a few for growing (don’t know if it will work but I’m excited!)
