I can't remember if I've talked about this or not, but my SL relationship that I thought was so great turned out not to be (It's a very long story), and I decided to end it in April. I've had a few months of peace and healing and they've generally stayed away from the spaces I've been in. I have no desire to ever talk to them again. And, well...
The club that I DJ and host at is one of those spaces that I frequent, even when I'm not working. I stayed for my friends' set yesterday and had a great time. Sometime after I left, this ex sent a gif in the club's Discord server, and I was also informed that they went to the club and stayed for a little bit.
I'm not trying to police where any person can hang out, even if they ripped my heart out of my chest, shredded it into a billion pieces, and spit on the remains. But now I'm concerned that they're going to just randomly show up if I'm working. I'll just block them on sight if that happens of course, but I'll still have the knowledge that they were/are there.
So I guess like... how do I deal with that knowledge? I can't control where they go, and I'm not gonna try.
But the fact that they're coming around again really rattled me last night, and I spent like an hour talking myself down from an anxiety attack.
