i watched that vid last night and yeah I would take that TW seriously, nothing super graphic is directly shown but the description of what happened is graphic enough to cause serious distress

absolutely horrifying

if you want the TLDR without having to watch the video: ordinary self cleaning litter boxes are FINE, just make sure you're buying from a reputable company with a long safety history, DON'T buy anything from amazon or a third party reseller or from kickstarter/indiegogo because these things don't have the same rigorous safety testing history

He actually recs a couple, the man has 7 cats and has tested a ton of automatic litterboxes.
