Hanna would totally leave Walter stupid little doodles and origami at the circ desk just for fun.
This could not have come at a better time... Huff, I want to do a new wave of tags! I have all the ideas in my head! But my job just somehow got me so tired today. And!
Jumping frog origami all over the desk for when it gets BORING.
tinwateringcan I think realistically in terms of OOC time commitment my next thread with JS would be Walter talking about his thoughts about doing The Thing so I would LOVE some concepts because I think it would NOT be like
"oh hey I'm talking to you just now because I want something"
The thing as in my personal plot for him to be a stupid mutilation psycho lmao
BLESS HANNA. I feel like this would be their stop motion animation alternating shifts art war
Hanna might be a disaster but he's a good coworker xD
hmm! how might he introduce it?
if he's looking for help/advice silver would be very receptive to that
I meant to ask Walter is still waiting for the port to make a move so I meant more like what kind of things would he and silver do hanging out until then
Don't think they have enough CR yet for anting handwaved... But, port!
ah! gotcha, silver has been hanging out in the lounge a lot; he's a bit cranky over recent developments
I almost forgot to paste in this gif at the start for my excitement overall
My brain continued to be soup after work
Alan and Walter have definitely bumped into each other in the mess hall / are vaguely aware of each other, I think!
RAISES HAND it's in my queue! For them to have a proper starter! I also think Alan's reputation might be twitchy book/author/library guy? I don't know which network threads if any about him are public off the top of my head but
I had seriously considered Walter being guy to walk in on the book burning incident close to alan's arrival, and if you're okay with it, he could still be aware of it in a different way such as having needed to clean up
Is he still behaving in a more controlled but twitchy way now?
whitespire.
Also Walter is very heavily in mess by September as he's basically run out of any nice food he'd built up from Malcolm's place back when they were still getting along in mid July (like 10% left for special occasions) (he also has commissary snacks)
Did Walter move grandma’s food from Malcolm’s fridge or can he sees how much is left?
By the above I meant how much food had been successfully transferred and preserved in Walter's own cabin
Grandma was last here on, uh, June 14 I think? So July 4 was the Abel post. Walter started trying to subtly finish the food that was in the fridge. Then the July 9 Eiffel post was when Walter confronted Malcolm. Then the July 28 post was Walter's own helpful warden post. Since that post Walter didn't go to Malcolm's shared cabin again
Walter doesn't actually have his own fridge so what he could successfully transfer was limited. And it had been 45 days. And now later he was also holing up somewhat for Silent Hill. At this point September I think that if Walter was in possession of something specifically created by Grandma
It would be some kind of dry cake or fruit or something. HOWEVER. I am a yes-and er
It was always my scenario that Lydia didn't necessarily tell Walter every single thing she did, most notably she shared his birthday
THEREFORE if you want there to be non dessert food that was, say, freeze dried in the freezer. Which also just plain didn't occur to Walter at the time because he was primarily focused on transferring stuff out of the fridge area of the refrigerator
Just curious if Malcolm would know when the grandma food got low; I had an idea when I was driving home that he would ask Neal - a skilled cook AND a skilled forger - duplicate some of it and just... add some sometimes >.> But what if instead of adding it to the fridge, grandma's own (somehow fresh??) meatloaf just showed up outside
Walter's door now and then.
Like some sort of creepy unsolicited room service >.>
No regular interval... just sometimes there's some there.
ultimately Grandma's abilities and time are limited so in my head the aforementioned nice food had always been at most 1/3 actually her stuff. the idea of Neal doing this is so freaking funny
I think that it would make sense to interpolate this into the past if you like (e.g. my scenario for the birthday on August 7th so at that point it turned out Malcolm would have had to "leave out" the cake for him)
Also if it only started after he stopped talking to Malcolm, it would be really obvious that it was Malcolm XD
But what if the food has just been showing up randomly and some like the birthday cake was really left by grandma and some is... them.
There IS an episode of white collar where Neal created a perfect replica of this extremely rare and expensive scotch out of cheap whiskey.
I feel like recreating grandma's recipes would be a lot easier XD
I think that even though Lydia would tell Malcolm when it will be Walter's birthday she would not physically make the cake 'cause it would be pretty squishy after over a month (unlike a fruitcake which is For Christmas)
so that is a good opportunity for The Guys to make it and not be forthcoming that it was made by them
Grandma's neverending birthday cake
what's really funny is that in my head... this is actually kinda noticeably different from what Walter would make for himself... like he found his own tastes as an adult (sushi, tacos, heavy flavor powders, not so much gooey dressed salads)
and just did not say anything when Grandma was there because It Was Made By Grandma. Who Was In Prison And Then Was Dead And Now Is Here For Like A Week
yes they will be imitating what she left in the fridge except the various dishes will keep appearing and they will be completely fresh.
They were putting it in the fridge so it would, like, magically refill but then Walter stopped talking to Malcolm so now it appears outside his door like it's following him.
Pyotr still thinks Walter's tastes are normal (if Walter ever ate any of that weird stuff in front of him)
help this is so funny god bless
I HAVE A RELEVANT THOUGHT FOR THIS YOU WILL SEE SOON
Or maybe by now he has noticed most of the other 21st century people don't Do That with their food, but I think all of it, esp after the crunch wrap surpreme, registers as so strange that it's just like "yeah, seems right."
Also Pyotr is still on his bread diet
probably by September Walter will be suspecting this to some degree (I am!! working on new tag in our august thread to bridge the gap!! I got very tired after lunch for a while but I am working on it now!!)
Also it is well known that Malcolm CANNOT COOK a thing to save his life so can't be him
I meant suspecting Pyotr's bread diet. I am sorry I do not have good September plan for you yet Malcolm lol. regarding the infinite meatloaf Walter will be kinda staring into space like "...is Will helping? He seems kinda mad at me nowadays. I guess it is Neal of sushi making fame." he finds Neal kinda suspiciously coolheaded so hasn't rly said anything
slides in here super late! he's still broody and mysterious but has waaay less if the ptsd stuff going on. he's evened out lot !
I think the infinite meatloaf may be a good talking point lol one of the things that made Walter really snap and be very mean in the July 28 thread was the way Malcolm tried to bring his grandma into it, so the infinite meatloaf very much continues that behavior
he has no idea what you're talking about what's infinite meatloaf? >.>
also bud pls make up ur mind about whether you want him to remember grandma or not!!
See this is exactly why Walter is very frustrated because Malcolm will dismiss him as inconsistent very easily when he thinks it's pretty obvious that a situation could have multiple factors in play
(Basically he thought "I'll take you to her" was a very out of touch thing to say like he's 40 years old they've moved on and this doesn't address the underlying problem of whether Walter, or Lydia, are fundamentally good and deserve freedom)
this part at least he's fully aware he wasn't forthcoming about, like he didn't share his emotions at that point
Which is very frustrating!
I'm still working on our old stuff as best I can. I don't know IC wise what I'll be able to start pre-port, but at least the old stuff can become more resolved
magicom: OH RIGHT slaps cheeks I actually meant to ask is Malcolm attempting at stabbing her very deep, so his hand would be occupied for a good few seconds, or more of a glancing slash that would be just a moment?
tinwateringcan: maybe Walter could bring some sadistic board game into the lounge, like operation or OH OH BATTLESHIP
LMAO that sounds great, I love it
He is just trying to wound a knee to make her stumble enough that he can get away if not stop her.
