my advisor had recommended taking one course at a time to start out to help me ease in but that's obviously not quite enough

(I also was disorganized enough to fail to notice I had a 2-page paper due tonight, so I wrote the professor asking for help and whether I can turn that paper in late, but I need general help just getting back in the groove of studying & learning)

I did find some vocab sets on Quizlet for the chapters the quiz was over, but there were too many fill-in-the-blank questions that were asking for concepts in a more abstract way than the vocab drills helped with

I'm one of those formerly "gifted" students who used to be able to just read the textbook and memorize everything, so I have no idea what I'm doing
