I'm fighting Death - I wasn't expecting him to have a second form.

I'm trying to remember a time Death doesn't have a second form, and the only answer that came to me was Order of Ecclesia

Also, quicksaving is very useful if you don't like to backtrack a lot.

Admittedly, I haven't played a ton of Castlevania games - just Symphony of the Night and Aria of Sorrow, and those were a while ago. (I've tried getting into the classic entries, but I prefer the Metroid-inspired ones)

I got what's more or less flight, or the Inverse ability from Bloodstained, so I'm going to backtrack and fill in as much of the map as I can.

Harmony is a weird game and I got lost for a solid chunk of time until I realized what the Gimmick was

I think I'm almost done! I've just got a bit in the far right (there's a wall in the way) plus that central bit where I assume the final boss is.

I've got every relic, every spellbook, and (as far as I can tell) every piece of furniture. Not sure if it's possible to get 200% map completion (since one of those squares is the final boss, though maybe you have to beat them in both castles), but I'm going to give it a try.

I'm guessing that, since the evil Maxim only shows up in castle B, I'll have to go there.

Looking into it, there are three possible endings. The good one requires me to have some weaker equipment, but I'll give it a shot.

I beat the game! Didn't get 200% map completion, but as far as I can tell, I just didn't visit one save point on either version of the castle. (Can't tell which one I missed on either one)

I'm playing on the Switch, so getting 200% of the map wouldn't be for an achievement or anything.

It was tough to figure out where to go early on, but I enjoyed it.
