Heather definitely knows him the best out of anyone except maybe Lust, and he is eternally grateful and in awe that she knew him through the whole thorny process of learning how to be a person and still stuck around long enough for them to get closer

they've seen so much of each other's respective bad sides and issues and struggles, and she's been there for Elric Drama 1, Elric Drama 2, Evil Mom, Wrath, Amnesia Day, Fed JW Human Souls.....

at this point he trusts her judgment and will follow her lead in a lot of situations, and it's BECAUSE she went through something so similar to him and came out of it decent

AND! SHE THREW HIS EVIL MOM OFF A CLIFF FOR HIM!! Somewhat traumatic at the time but also very romantic in hindsight!

he would help her obliterate her mom if he ever got the opportunity unless she wanted to do it on her own in which case he will respect that she has Vengeance Priority that's v important

but yeah overall just. loves her very much
