So, I went for a week's vacation in Oxfordshire with my dad (I was in mama's place while she was visiting a sick relative, since my brother's a minor and they wanted two family members to come!) Here are fun pictures, I went sightseeing, including to Alice's Shop!
I did not take pictures of Alice's Shop itself because various things I liked the best, like the miniatures and tea sets, had amusing warnings not to take pictures (NO PICTURES OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!! bellowed by the Queen of Hearts. ^o^;;; )
My very pretty haul (do I call it a haul...), the majority of my souvenirs came from Alice's Shop, fff. I got a very pretty tea-for-one set for myself and tea towels! And a White Rabbit plush and cute figurine of Alice with the flamingo...
The keychains are for my brother, I also got him a very cool mug with Alice and the Cheshire Cat... when you pour a hot beverage in it, the Cheshire Cat vanishes and leaves behind only his grin! He returns when it cools. ^^
I also went to a lovely, fairy tale-themed, accessible petting zoo / farm / garden called Fairytale Farm. I love amusement parks, but the constant noise is a lot (hence why I love how quiet and peaceful it is in those closed, gondola Ferris wheel rides!)
Everything was so soft and gentle, even the music, even the "noisy" games only made soft chiming sounds, I actually teared up in the sensory garden, fff.
One of the attractions was a singing mermaid in the Mermaid Garden! ;3; It was all so magical! There was also a pretty mermaid fountain... I have videos up on my imstagram!
They are!! It is and it's such a smaaaall shop, nestled between bigger buildings, because they kept it recognizable from the outside, as it existed in Lewis Carrol's time! It was his model for The Old Sheep's Shop (but reversed, for Through the Looking Glass.)
Thank you! I'm glad!! There was also a super cute postcard I got for my brother (he really enjoys puzzles and spot-the-difference images), it was really challenging, and they drew so many of the actual items in the shop, it was so cute!!
