Every single time I try to do this meme I burst out laughing remembering there is a canon answer to 19 (no, he wouldn't work but he'd putter around doing things he thinks are important)
i thought the same when i was reading the questions. thats why i didnt ask that one lol

1a. I would say Walter thinks he is just some guy. That everyone is of equal importance, setting aside outright fame which is kinda overrated. Niche fame is where it's at! Like in the true crime community! He would like to be a little more important but he is working on it. growth mindset

1b. Walter's definition of good or bad person is so bizarre... I would say that he basically thinks people are all human (I'M ANSWERING THESE MAINLY FROM A CANON POV LMAO...). That we all have parents in some sense, want to be loved, have favorite colors, etc. And that "everybody's hiding something"

I would say Walter thinks that he has a love for those spurned by life that does make him a somewhat exceptional and good person. He does amoral things in pursuit of that love and he knows there are people out there who live peaceful lives and don't do that, but life is complicated.

actual normal good person who has never killed anyone > Walter and Misty, who would kill people for their loved ones > bullies who have never killed anyone > bullies who HAVE killed people

3. Walter's reputation is actually pretty freaking important to him! first of all, if people actually socially sanction him as a stalker, let alone know he is now a murderer, then that means... bad things... like prison... but in the end, he's kinda given up on accomplishing anything "normal" in life, so that means the validation of his friends and comm

if the admiral were out there thinking of ways to appease Walter Tattersall it would be by adding a "karma" system he can do well on

6. How does your character respond to requests for charitable donations? Do they do any charity work? I thought about this for a bit and then I thought about what his grandma would do. So I think in terms of beggars on the street post-payout he specifically keeps some small bills on him so he can always give them like $5

like he has an envelope that started out with 100 fives

charity work it depends. it's clearly nothing like a part-time or full-time charity job but I think he has "missions" and he loves quirky things, niche causes, like he'd fly out to the brain damage fundraising marathon race. but if he can keep a lot of money so he can give it all at once to help his friend, that's a bigger priority
