ngl i fr dont understand how people can say "how are you doing" or "how are you liking x" without meaning it. ive seen over and over again that it's just small talk and people don't genuinely wanna know (which is why i keep my responses short when i'm asked by strangers) but whenever i ask it i always genuinely wanna know. and if i dont ask idgaf.
