you can dress up nic cage however you want, but you will never be able to convince me that he's anything but nic cage in a costume

you can give him as many accolades for his "transformation" as you want, but like this was standard nic cage fare

he almost tricked me early on, but then inevitably he did his whole nic cage thing, i think it was when he was yelling in the car about the drug store girl, that i was like

'yup, there he is'

i found his makeup to be weird. he looked like he just maybe got stung by a lot of bees

he was supposed to look like he had gotten bad plastic surgery!

oh! well, I guess that makes sense

i think the film suffered a lot in terms if plot but i did feel like the actors all did a really good job! even if their parts were smaller

i was particularly impressed by alicia witt, whose character i thought was much creepier than longlegs

oh the actors were great I just don't think nic cage is a particularly good actor

also I assume that at the end the doll convinced her to forget about it and it'll continue the same thing with the daughter that it did with lee

i like nic cage as an actor! but i can understand if you only see Him in all of his roles

i think he has had some pretty great roles, but i think all of his characters just have that erratic NIC CAGE energy always

which, can be great, or awful, or great because it's awful

yes for sure!

I think I wouldn't mind as much if it wasn't like some BIG SECRET and hyped as like some insane magnum opus performance or something

and that's considering that I thought all of their other marketing for the film was incredible
