I haven’t felt this in YEARS

I think this was triggered by 1. Seeing those “school loot” videos on Instagram 2. That one person on Instagram with a bunch of collections/trinkets, including a shrine to the discontinued Crayola dandelion crayons 3. The occasional nifty item I find while picking up trash at the park

Yesterday I found a little lightbulb and today I brought it home but my mom made me throw it out (which yeah I guess it was probably gross but STILL)

I also found a water pistol (I assume) that got slightly unearthed due to some kinda maybe construction work that involves big machines turning over dirt

I rinsed it off a little in the bathroom sink at work (which eventually led to me almost in tears, because I used the last paper towel wiping off the dirt from the sink, and then I wanted to replace it, but I couldn’t figure it out for a while so I got really frustrated) and was considering taking it home, but

1. It was pretty gross 2. I think it got re-buried due to the machinery scooping up dirt again
