Five women have told some of their story of how he assaulted and systemically abused them since early July.

Their stories vary, of course, as individual human experiences do, but taken together they show a pattern of Gaiman assaulting and abusing vulnerable people he has access to and then abusing NDAs and his economic and social power to coerce them into silence.

mistakesweremade - I just feel so angry for them and so sick that some of them are now blaming themselves for his later victims! I know how hard it is not to do that but I wish I could buy them ice cream.

Gaiman has not made even a gesture at apology or acknowledgement of harm and has to be considered an active predator in fandom.

He's done this before, a lot more often than we know so far, and he will absolutely do it again.

His victims deserve support and justice and vulnerable people around him deserve support and care and non judgemental assistance.

I felt sick when I caught wind of it. The people that broke the story did a terrible disservice to the victims in how they dealt with it.

roguetanking - yeah I haven't managed to be in a place where I could make it all the way the transcripts but the other reporting I've read and Anabelle Ross's essay really point up some of the flaws. Rape is rape, it's not kink if you're coerced. And it really sounds like some of those details are dangerous for the women. Just as examples.

I would like to add in here links to Claire telling her story on Papillion DeBoer's podcast Am I Broken. It isn't reporting per se - it's a project of listening to and sitting with surviors and talking about their jouneys.

This is not meant to pressure anyone into anything. This is a lot and I hope anyone reading this will prioritize their boundaries and their mental health.
