I was on summer club swim team for all of like 1st through 7th grade and then in 8th grade did year round training to prepare for trying out for the high school team. I was on the team in 9th grade and then quit bc it gave me a lot of bad mental health stuff around food and my body so I kinda never looked back
But doodler was talking about them diving off the blocks and sliding through the water and I found myself saying like.... yeah that feeling is the best
But also I’m just talking about going to a pool to work out not like. Trying to compete with anyone lol. it also would be good cross training for my shoulders & back for swords
