i had three ultrasounds and all i got was this stupid adhd

the ultrasounds were for thyroid/pcos/my guts fuckin mutinying for the last six months straight and did not find anything useful 😔

first one is fine (managed! got a refill on my meds!) and the last one i have a referral for (not til september......)

yeah ultrasound cant really diagnose PCOS. its more like here is another tally on the PCOS column numbering in the hundreds

yeah i expected to have to jump through at least a few hoops

but i mentioned it to my new pcp and she went well i can't diagnose that, do you want a referral, and the dr i got referred to just did a questionnaire

and she started me on a non stimulant bc apparently adults need an EKG first to make sure their heart is ok for stimulants, but shit, that was monday and i'm already on some kind of treatment, you know?
