so. im pagan. ive been so all my life. there are many and various gods of large things and small. the cornservant is a very small god of a very large thing.
as beautiful and vast that tuliyollal is so far - and i'm not even out of the city - so far the fact that this fellow exists is probbaly the thing i find most beautiful
it's not just about the plant. it's not even just about the food, even if it's all about the food. what this five minute sidequest has to say about hunger and where it leads is on par with some of the philosophical takes in late endwalker
nobody believes in them anymore. but they're still trying. they're still looking at their people and loving them and saving them through food. the simple act of feeding another living being is one of true love. it's why food made with love tastes better.
also? i've been there in grief. i've been there in stress. you will feel better if you eat something. it doesn't have to be much. it can be something as simple as grilled corn.
feeding people fixes things. a lot of things. it's not difficult. i will never understand why food is just straight up denied to other human people because of dumb shit like money.
