Nanoha/Fate. They are what all magical girl pairings should strive to be.

Adorable and badass in their own right, and passing it all on to the next generation, including their daughter who sadly never got her own spinoff adventures.

Haruka/Michiru. The classic. The seed from which all the others sprouted.

Does anyone not love these two? Fuck they're so good. Even when they're being surprisingly dumb with their plans. (Work with your goddamn princess you smug bastards.)

Iri/Saber. I've explained time and time again my delight for these two, and frankly the "objections" others raise only encourage me.

"But this is placing Saber into the same position Lancelot was in." Yes. Which is fascinating and I want to see it.

Also Kerry's not a king and isn't legally obligated to have his wife's lovers executed or exiled.

And now I'm picturing Kerry as a king and oh fuck no that poor man and also that poor country.

VI gives us Terra and Celes and I love it and they're beautiful.

Both have their stint as the arguable main character even.

VII makes it entirely too easy and the remake just enhanced it. Tifa/Aeris has always been the ship of culture.

VIII and IX I don't have much in the way of ships for period, X is just... any given combination.

I haven't actually played enough of X-2 to really slot Paine in, and she's honestly not much my type anyway...

I didn't have much for XII, but funnily enough the Dalmasca storyline in XIV gave me Fran/Ashe, so that's neat.

XIII is a blight upon this earth...

Ah jeez crosscanon... You know you'd figure with my history and interests I wouldn't have any difficulty with this, and yet.

Kairi (KH) and Ruby Rose (RWBY) pair together quite nicely. Arguably too sweet a combination, but they make up for it in sheer force of personality and firepower.

Actually I can just shove Kairi in with other light-element girls really. Zelda (BotW version) works especially well.
