interestingly, one of the fics I follow like a bloodhound, had Aelwyn and Riz faking a relationship for a bit. Even when its fake it did not go well.
(it's a 'riz raised by Kalina' fic, so both him and Aelwyn are very deep into the nightmare king shit)

which is technically only up to freshman year right now but there is... a large chunk of story before the actual canon
but yeah, through Kalina, Riz and Aelwyn are now friends who sometimes commit warcrimes together
