the casting is so spot on, visually and vocally

they have all the standard roles of 70s paranormal intrigue. the skeptic, the psychic, the investigator, all of that

and each one of those roles is exactly how you'd imagine them, but without being caricatures?

like they fit the bill to a t without being cartoony

it's been schlocky in all the right places with a couple of genuinely unsettling moments

i'm also hoping this gets some larger roles for david dastmalchian in the future

also worth watching more than once if you like noticing little details you may have missed the first time

yes!! i'm noticing that like. i definitely want to watch it through more than once because there are little things that are pinging my brain that i want to explore more
