I went to my first Pride festival this weekend (Phoenixville PA). Yes, my theater had a booth there. But I'm glad that I went. I try my best to be an ally to my LGBTQ+ friends, and seeing such a positive outpouring of love and support has only made me realize that I can (and should) try to do more.

Taking part in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert dovetailed nicely with that - the Pride Fest at Phoenixville coincided with our opening weekend (yep, here's the shameless plug you all knew was coming). Our first two shows went swimmingly, and we've got six more over the next two weekends.

Incidentally... on the way out of the theater, one member of the audience came up to me and told me that I had "the best gams out there." Was she right? You'll have to come to the show and judge for yourself.
