it's a korean manhwa about a young guy named yu ijin who, as a child, was traveling with his parents when their plane was shot down and he was the only survivor

over the years, he grew up being trained as a mercenary with a bunch of other kid soldiers and they became "the numbers," the world's most elite assassins

as you might expect, yu ijin is number 1

he manages to escape the group and saves a man who offers to get him home to korea, where he's reunited by his grandfather and sister, yu dayun

his family is cute, and all they want to do is protect him and take care of him, while he secretly protects them and his friends from assassin shit

his family must be protected at all costs

he also starts going to school, where he meets some bully's who are busting some nerdy gamer kid's balls, and then he beats the shit out of them and they all become friends and start playing league together after school

he also becomes friends with shin yuna, a girl at his school who is the heir to some giant multinational corporation that involves security detail

she loves him, because yu ijin is described as looking like a model, and every lady falls in love with him because he's very kind but also very stoic and mysterious

the story basically revolves around an antagonist whose ass ijin has to kick and then they become best friends

the is number 2, who is/was his rival and they all thought he betrayed them, and it was a big misunderstanding that had to be solved by an ass kicking

he has to kick all of their asses. it works out fine in the end. now they just wanna help ijin continue his normal life because they've never seen the dude smile before and when they first see him with his sister they're like who the fuck is THAT guy

this is also another previous antagonist, cha dushik, who is a mafia boss whose ass ijin had to kick, and now they're buddies
