Indoor girl goes outdoors. I'm digging up the overgrown areas around the foundation and laying down gravel today and yesterday I cleaned out a rodent nest from our old lawn tractor and changed out the oil and filters. Getting my hands dirty... bleh!
Now I suspect a valve in the carburetor is gummed up and needs cleaning because fuel is getting into the air filter
Feeling good, got really sweaty today trying to level the ground and getting rid of weeds. There are plants trying to get up into our garage! Shoo plants! There's the beginning of water damage on the siding from the plants being so close
My delicate hands were not made for such things 
I have issues with ditch lillies, and wear medical-style gloves to keep dirt from under my nails when I can.
Tanarian: like nitrile gloves? Hmm. I was wearing work gloves with grips but the shovel is still doing a number on my thumbs
I got nitrile because Myfi's allergic to latex, so I have most of a box left. I also haven't been doing stuff with shovels or things, just scooping dirt out of a bag to pot the onion. (I hope it lives.)
I do have gardening gloves, though.
