in light of enstars continuously committing sin and having me reflect on what the h✽ll has been wrong about the first !! rotation of casual outfits. this is me setting up my echo chamber

because this isn't just "oh these outfits are ugly." i mean. in some cases. they sure are! but the bone i've got to pick with happyele over fictional boy clothes is how interchangeable a lot of these outfits are

with the ! casual outfits, they all make sense to me. because with the little differing ways they wear their school uniforms it links to what we would see them wearing outside of school. and some of that can be owed to their shoes

this unit is just a bunch of guys. none of them come from particularly wealthy families. one of them is even poor™. so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that they aren't only wearing those shoes between home and school, sitting in a shoe locker for a majority of the day

and there are two instances where a cg shows us. yep! those sure are the same shoes

so the logic i play off of is "do these outfits go with the shoes? these shoes are their personality!"

this condition won't actually apply to a hajime outfit but i'll get to that when i get to him. this is just the preface for the whole thing. this is gonna be one bun at a time

i'll just go in order from that little... collage i cobbled together. from left to right

in the case of mitsuru, he has only one casual outfit that's unlockable. but we also get him in an uniform+scarf combo that is also unlockable!

he's, of course, one of the sporty ones in the group and that is very much reflected in what he wears! he has been doing track & field before attending yumenosaki and excels in it to where someone was trying to recruit him for the olympics. his specialty is the backflip. you get the idea! he's always dressed as if ready to dash

he isn't great about buttoning up his school shirt, and that tie is always loose, but he isn't afraid of wearing collar that sits higher against his neck as seen with the undershirt with his winter uniform and the track suit. he also wears his scarf pretty cozily

it can be inferred that mitsuru comes from the most well off family in his unit. he gets allowances and doesn't put a lot of value in money. so his winter wear track suit is possibly pretty good quality

it's interesting since there is that "ultima" logo on the jacket? i know enstars references real stuff and there is some ultima tokyo brand? but i think they make travel bags and whatnot. just. i assume happyele wouldn't be namedropping a real brand

admittedly i don't love the track suit. but. it's perfectly mitsuru. a lot of it is his character color which is attention grabbing without being obnoxious. and he is the self proclaimed superstar!

socks were listed as his likes on his ! profile, which got carried over to ESY1, but we never actually see his socks. he wears high socks in his unit uniform but? otherwise??

it'd be funny if the real reason to have his pants hiked up his calves is to admire the socks ahaha

on the flip side, his listed dislike is hats/wearing anything on his head. and he's all clear on that account! no hood to be seen on that track suit. so i'm happy with that!

and now this is treading hypothetical territory. !mitsuru didn't get an outfit for warmer weather. recently jun got a casual outfit for the ESY2 rotation. and it's kind of what i imagined mitsuru maybe have worn. some sort of jersey with a mock turtleneck that might be like the one he wore to school

he could shed the top layer if he was so desperate to gain speed if need be pffft

finally. off the top of my head, we have seen mitsuru's school bag once. it seems to match the color scheme of his track suit! good old orange back at it again!

we do see a version of his school bag in the judge of knights stage show. but. i am not consulting in resources outside of the game itself. and last time i was trying to find jok it wasn't easy. i want to think that maybe the bag would reappear in memory of marionette. but i never saw that show so i don't know for sure

i guess i can go over his ESY1 outfits

in his second year of high school his tie switches from red to blue. that's how it goes. but he's still wearing the same shoes. the game doesn't focus on the high school setting like ! so i guess those details are not exactly of grand importance

while there doesn't appear to be a cg to show us any hint of his warmer shoewear is like. there is a bit of his colder weather. and judging by the producer sprites. these are all undoubtedly three different pairs of shoes

his warmer wear has him wearing three top layers. so that's a trip

obviously you can wear a hood and not wear the actual hood part. but. i can't pretend like i'm not a little bothered that both of his ESY1 outfits have hoods. it's seriously a nonissue. they wouldn't hinder him in anyway. but i can't help but picture that little extra weight on his shoulders being something of an annoyance to him

i mean. they weren't. like. seriously nonissue. i am blowing it up into nothing. but. these outfits are just kind of nothing i guess

the colors aren't quite as eye catching as that orange tracksuit but that means he can maybe fit in with society better. it is a little more mature. but you're trying to tell me that this kid who ran out into the middle of the diamond when baseball club was practicing would think about that?

i'm not going to be touching on the feature scout outfits. this is just the personal not entertainment things. the feature scout outfits can be their own plurk for a day where i actually slept the night before

i do actually want to not just skim over stuff since the ESY1 outfits are important and take some of my own screenshots without relying on the internet. i know i'm not about to conk out but my brain is done with overtime and is aware that i've been awake for thirty-seven hours. i'll resume my screeching after some paid programming
