B-) do you know if those were shooting stars or satellites?

Arbieroo: The exposure is 20 seconds, and I think that the shutter is opened every 59 seconds. So from the beginning of one shot to the end of the other it's about 79 seconds. some might have been meteors, as I saw some while out there. But most are probably Starlink.

The angular velocity probably could be figured out, the moon shows up in the beginning just setting, but I've not tried to figure that out, but it's a pretty wide shot.

ah - Starlink, every astronomer's favourite source of light pollution...

I mean, it could be some other source... I didn't try to figure it out. Not sure I have enough data to be sure. Certainly seems to be a lot of what's probably satellites out since the last time I spent time looking at night.

Starlink is certainly plausible.

I certainly spotted far more than I was comfortable about. Doesn't really show up as, "oh my god this is terrible" but that is more in the perspective of a fairly wide view.
