gimme a character and a question or two
Joshua, favorite thing about his appearance: strawberry blond hair. He's like a flame in the darkness and I love that.
Joshua, something I've wanted to write: All the scenes I have are amazing. I'm always curious about interactions with characters that aren't much around, like jote and even cyril, because boy is there are whole WELL of interesting things there
but mostly you and Dulin have greatly spoiled me.
Hyth: what inspires me to write this character: his dedication to his two people. Completely
things I've wanted to write with hyth: gods, everything. slice of life, getting together, hurt/comfort, someone dealing with him choosing to sacrifice himself, reunion in the lifestream
Favorite thing about Vash's appearance? His eyes, probably. Though writing his scars is its own thing.
Hardest thing about writing Vash? Not leaning into the constant pain he is in because he does hide it but my attention very easily zeroes in on it. And also turning that into his particular brand of sense of humor.
ALSO Basch 10 & 19! Because why not
Vash, something I've always wanted to write with him? I have been indulged a lot but, even though I've grown quieter with him, I love exploring just about anything with him also. He is both so old and in his ways wise, and so helpless when it comes to genuinely being cared about. Even with Home, it's... very rare.
what inspires me to write Basch: he's literally survived the worst that could happen to him, and he's still got the strength to keep going. He's been locked in a cage for years, skin and bones, and he's still, give me a sword, I'll help.
He loves his brother, he knows his brother can't forgive him, he can't forgive his brother. It's so LAYERED. And then there is the thing where now that he's free, and especially once the game is done and yes, he has a duty, but also... he has to re-learn to ... live.
he's an infinite fount of things that fascinate me. Competent, stoic, basically does the generally impossible, and, on occasion, a little shit. But also you have to dig really deeply to get to that because he carries so much responsibility
uh.... yeah. Basch has certainly got a lot of things that inspire me to write. Many emotions.
Basch, what I've always wanted to write with him: even if I've written a bunch? Also open to much. Digging into the nitty gritty of his damage. Ships. Just friendship stuff, also. Light-hearted stuff, just ... not childish silliness but things that don't have a tangle of strings attached. and things that make them. Smile. Laugh.
uuugh yeah Basch is so fascinating because of all the pain and then his duty and even after his brother dies and taking up that mantle. A cage in another word
and like. His guilt is monumental and starts with leaving his family and his homeland but. he still keeps going .
