Starting with who I'm currently logged in as... Gekko from Valorant!
His mom is in the reveal trailer for him, when she's yelling at him to take control of his pets because they're wrecking the house.
So, you know, a valid reason to yell because your son is busy dying his hair neon green instead of controlling his sci-fi slime pets.
Gekko is a fun character, but he's like, 19ish, so a bit immature and deserved that yelling.
Oikawa His mom showed up once in the manga, and it's clear where he got his looks.
she accidentally washed something he got autographed. Which, oops, happens. But everything in the manga seems to indicated that he's very close to her and the rest of the family.
Nico Maria di Angelo is, well, dead.
From everything we see, she was a very good mother.
His relationship with his stepmother, Persephone, is mixed. She turned him into a dandelion
a plant often viewed as a weed
so it's easy to see her view on him.
Apparently things are better now after TSATS
but I have yet to finish that book.
Riku Has no mother on screen.
I have head canons as to their relationship.
but no canon basis for it.
My boys from KnB have moms, but they're never shown on panel, hardly any parent is. So. Headcanon time again
Kellan from Magic the Gathering is a new muse, and he loved his mom Alyse. And she was a good mom. Made him a magic cloak that showed how she met his father Oko.
Trafalgar Law Had a good mom! Also dead.
uh, shit, a lot of moms that are dead.
She was a very strict mother, and raised him to be the zealot that he is =D
I do not read her as a good mother. I think she and Jecht were very young, and didn't know what they were doing.
according the KnB information books, he has a single mother.
And knowing how the world feels on single mothers, that's not good for her.
And Hanamiya's a bastard of character so, she has awful luck all around really.
I do hc that he loves her though.
(He's not Haizaki who's a complete ass to everyone. Hanamiya has his posse of people he treats.... well-ish(
I think Bakugou Mitsuki loves her son. I think she wants the best for him.
I think she's doing it wrong.
Given that Kacchan is, well, himself, it's not easy for her. Given their very similar personalities just makes it worse.
Again, I believe she loves him with all of her heart and is trying her best.
but it's a not a situation for Bakugou, and if Bakugou hadn't met Todoroki and learned what he went through, Bakugou would be a similar parent when grew up. And I believe her upbringing was very close to how she raised her son.
Gaara: His mom loved him lots and protects him even from beyond the grave.
