grey. Maybe a tinge if green if I turned up my imagination.

the faint ones make the best photographs...

took some pictures, but they are not really very good.

JigmeDatse: I'm told long exposures of faint aurorae work best.

tried a couple of times to get aurora pictures. This was somewhat better than the last time. So there is that. I did get some that were interesting, but I should have setup a tripod and been able to take 29 second exposures (not really sure if that's an actual issue or not).

the tripod is a good idea.

set up the tripod with 25 second exposure ... Not looking that promising as of yet, but that may change...

they'll get something out of it that might be interesting, even if it's not decent aurora pictures.

it sounds and looks at photos so fascinating to see...would love to see it in real....
