honestly I would be kind of pissed off OOCly at a character who can just do anything any other character can do at their exact skill level

She can't do anything any other character can do, it's specifically physical combat, but yeah that's her Deal

Not as funny if it pisses people off OOCly though

Selene functions fairly similarly I think they'd get along since Selene is pretty chill/likes a challenge

Linie's powerset is:
1. Can use magic to create any weapon she's seen out of her own mana
2. The ability to perfectly recall and mimic physical movements (i.e. fighting style)

on the other hand

Regulus is potentially a hard counter

It's actual weakness:
1. Can't copy magic
2. Can't mimic physical attributes of the person she's copying

since his gimmick power is that he can perfectly counter any move that's previously killed him

She's a demon so she's naturally faster and stronger than most humans but if a fighting style requires strength higher than her own that's a gap she can't overcome

(which is how Stark kills her in canon)

oh as a villain it'd be less annoying

because that's less invalidating your character's effort and more forcing them to surpass themselves

Overbringer: The thing is that she doesn't need to necessarily copy her opponents, if she's seen stronger people in the past as well

since she's obsessed with becoming The Best so this is a chance to compare herself to various past combat geniuses

It also lets her kill Linie via Axe, as is appropriate

I've set up Selene fairly similarly, she uses magic to create weapons but doesn't really mimick existing weapons and she's just good at fighting with everything

So I'd definitely like to get her in on that

could ALSO be fun to fight as yerin. make her fight her teacher

yeah that's the other thing, since she's a dmeon she's been around for a while,

she could specifically fight like somebody's master
