Potted up two blueberries today 😎

I have:
- two regular strawberries
- three alpine strawberries
- two figs
- two blueberries
- two cape gooseberries
- a passion fruit
- two basils inside

Oh also a kōwhai and native fuchsia and another native thing to try doing bonsai with

I cannot overstate how much I love my wee garden. The fig trees are even making little figs?? They might not be proper ones as they are still young plants but I am watching them keenly

I have got to get a mat for just inside or just outside the door to the balcony though. Sure did tread dirt through the living area (I'll vacuum it up when it's dry and it's not like the carpet is in even okay condition so it's fine, but I just don't want it to be a regular thing)

I'm gonna try growing watermelons later in the year, too.

Only other thing I wanna get is a raspberry

Lmao, I did just check what size my blueberries get to though and one gets to 2m high and 2m wide and the other gets to 1.5m high and 1.5m wide which is way too big for the balcony forever. That will take several years though.

Today I potted my strawberries and rescued the flowers my flatmate has and planted some more (there is a slight difference I promise)

Rearranged and tidied up

Mum's giving me another little bench like the one I've got already so I can raise up some more of the plants that need light. In the spring I'm going to plant a watermelon and buy a grafted capsicum and mum wants me to grow tomatoes

Maybe I'll do cucumbers too...

Once again my brain is just "plants plants plants figs plants"

The figs are growing so well I'm so excited to eat them
