EaW has a ton of mods, though the main ones I played are Thrawn's Revenge and Fall of the Republic. FotR lets you play as either Republic or CIS in the Clone Wars. Thrawn's Revenge is basically play as any major faction that existed in Legends post-Endor up to pre-Yuuzhan Vong.
I like TR more, because it lets me play the adorable Leonia Tavira
