bad as it supposedly was, I remember enjoying it, honestly?
I enjoyed it in a fun campy so bad its good way~
Oh don't get me wrong, I love this movie
That's why I'm watching it again right this very moment
if I recall, young me also had a crush on Matthew Broderick (if I'm remembering right) at the time from this film
I could be misremembering though
You and 2 out of the 3 significant female characters in the movie lol
man I need to watch it again. I haven't seen it since it was in forever
back in the era when it was new york getting destroyed in all the major monster and end of the world films
these days its all san francisco
some days I just think about how amazing a song "deeper underground" is, if that counts
paperbacks remembering the era of Jamiroquai being on movie soundtracks
honestly I loved it and still think it slaps. there's great humor and the twists are fun and interesting and I liked the resolution! and Broderick did a great job of making me like him as a character which was often a struggle back then.
plus the whole ost slaps.
Lenore how did I not know you liked this movie??
I have no idea? but I own the original soundtrack on CD somewhere here....
speaking of turn of the century movie soundtracks, Titan A.E., anyone?
(also speaking of Jamiroquai, lol)
I still have cosmic castaway and karma slave on my rotation.
Two of the best from that album for sure!
