Volunteers dropped off kitty at 2am last night. They drove all over the country dropping off animals with families. Walking in my pyjamas to the truck to collect my cat in the middle of the night was surreal. I was barely coherent and totally forgot the Ukrainian greetings I had meant to say. I was mortified later. But the lady Oksana was kind and hugged me
before getting back on the road to deliver the rest of the animals. They do that every week just for France. I think they must deliver many other rescued animals in Germany and Poland.

omgwtfbarb: aww, thanks, that’s so kind! We’ll be alright, I think. I had some leftover cat food and toys and things, so we didn’t have to get everything from scratch. I kept a lot of stuff I couldn’t bear to throw away when my cat of 16 years passed last year
