sometimes days are long...
lol such an appropriate emoticon
it is basically just 10 back stretches so that explains why it's staggered to keep things loose
teach me them...my back always hurts lol
I can show you Sunday! Whether it helps or not will depend on the specific part of your back giving you guff lol
lol but yah that would be cool
still in the boot here :<
but you are making progress!
it will feel so freeing when you escape the boot
but my pt keeps adding exercises so i suppose that's a good sign of progress
and hurting me worse which is also...progress...?
i was like "why does this hurt so much more" and he was like "I'm pushing harder because you're getting better"
that is also progress lol
he had me in tears pushing on my calf today, hurt so bad
that's worse than I've had to deal with for sure
but you also have a more acute injury
yeah i've always felt like that's a sensitive area in general, i don't even let masseuses work on it too hard
I think cuz calves are smaller it can be easier to dig in a little too hard there
yeah and this was new, he's been working around where my ligaments got all stretchy which is also very painful but at least i'm kind of used to it
so hopefully next time i can deal with it a little better
ty my friend ;; i miss running lol
the funny ("funny") thing about my pain spots is that a couple are aggravated by running but the worst ones aren't bothered at all by running, it's only certain body position shifts where it is a big owie
so it's like ok where the fuck did this all start from
everything is connected in the most annoying way
runner friends...don't neglect your strength training
the irony is that last training cycle I threw myself into strength training and still ended up here
but in retrospect I can remember little hurts prior to then so whatever is going on probably started ages ago
little hurts specific to what I'm dealing with now I mean
it is weird...it's just so hard to know what the right thing to do is without guidance
I'm just glad I had a healthy HSA built up cuz the copays on thrice weekly sessions @_@ man
ahaha yeah i've been paying them out of pocket
i never really grasped what an hsa was for until stuff like this lol
is your insurance not covering any of it or do you just mean the part you pay is direct from regular otterbucks?
oh yeah i meant the copay
it's $35 so $105 a week rn
i was seeing him 1-2 times a week for the knee so that was not too bad but 3x weekly is a lot
but hopefully i can decrease appts soon
if it makes you feel any better the nature of my plan that comes with the HSA is structured so my copays are a lot higher than that
it saves me more upfront and lets me set the money aside pretax but the downside is this
cuz we don't have a civilized health system here
I always kinda hated when I had a plan with an fsa though because it was like "guess how much medical money you're going to spend! if you come in under that we're going to keep it all anyway!"
see i don't even know the difference between the two haha
they both kinda have the same function but fsas have lower contribution limits and don't carry over year to year
if you have a steady amount you know you're going to spend, like regular visits, that's something I guess
